Meet the Team

Led by Angie Shearer MBE, Full Colour Coaching is powered by a passionate team of educators, coaches, and wellbeing specialists who are transforming how schools support student and staff wellbeing.

Angie Shearer

Angie brings over a decade of experience as a PE teacher in Aberdeenshire, where she saw first-hand the growing impact of stress and anxiety on students and staff alike. Driven by a vision for positive change, Angie trained as an ICF ACTP-accredited coach and founded Full Colour Coaching to introduce these life-changing tools into Scottish schools.

Now, she leads a growing team committed to one mission: to create emotionally intelligent, confident, and resilient school communities where wellbeing is not just taught, but truly lived.

I believe students are capable, creative, and full of potential. With the right tools and support, they become powerful changemakers — in their own lives and within their school communities.

What We Stand For

At Full Colour Coaching, we believe coaching can spark lasting change. Our work focuses on building the skills and mindset students need to thrive – academically, socially, and emotionally.

We help schools create cultures of support, growth, and leadership, empowering young people to take ownership of their wellbeing and lead with empathy and confidence.

Our Mission

To embed coaching into school life by:

  • Boosting student wellbeing and self-awareness
  • Training peer leaders and mentors
  • Supporting staff development and coaching capacity
  • Creating a ripple effect of positive change across school communities

What We Do

We partner with schools across Scotland to deliver engaging, evidence-based programmes that support both students and staff:

  • Student Coaching Programmes
Group coaching workshops for whole classes or targeted groups, focused on wellbeing, confidence, and emotional intelligence.
  • Peer Leadership Training
For student leaders, wellbeing ambassadors, and mentors to build coaching and support skills.
  • The Coaching Skills for Wellbeing Award
Recognising student growth in leadership, resilience, and peer support.
  • Staff Development & Strategic Support
Coaching training and strategy development to help schools embed a long-term, sustainable coaching culture.

All programmes are solution-focused, strengths-based, and tailored to each school’s unique culture and goals.

Our Approach

We use a practical coaching model built for schools, helping students learn how to:

  • Reflect on their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
  • Build empathy and respectful communication
  • Set achievable goals and take action
  • Support peers in a constructive, empowering way

Our model is grounded in research and aligned with Scotland’s national focus on student mental health and wellbeing.

Why Coaching in Schools Matters

Coaching helps students develop:

  • Self-belief
  • Emotional awareness
  • A growth mindset

These are not just skills for school — they’re life skills. They prepare students to navigate challenges, build healthy relationships, and make positive choices well into adulthood.

Full Colour Coaching is making a real difference in how our students think, feel, and lead.
